From industrial archaeology and the depiction of Syros in the 1980s by Russian painters, to exhibitions themed around motorcycles or, more recently, the artistic interpretation of trauma through the talent of artists who live and work on the island, the ground-floor hall of the museum periodically hosts fascinating expressions of art and craftsmanship.
