Part of an important cultural collaboration highlighting the power of technical knowledge, creativity, and the will for synergy, students and professors of the University of West Attica have just completed maintenance work on two machines of the Hermoupolis Industrial Museum.

The presence of this scientific team in Syros is an initiative of the Deputy Mayor for Culture, Ms. Thomai Mendrinou, following her proposal to professor Ms. Argyropoulou, with the aim of continuing similar collaborations to those already established with Mr. Christos Loukos within the framework of other successful cultural actions.
The Municipality of Syros – Hermoupolis warmly thanks:
- The professors of the University of West Attica: Ms. Malea, Ms. Giannopoulou, Ms. Argyropoulou, and Ms. Petrou,
- All the students who showed passion and professionalism,
- Mr. Michalis Pateras, friend and supporter of the Industrial Museum,
- The Deputy Mayor of Daily Life and Small Projects, Mr. Ioannis Marangos, for his practical assistance,
- And the Friends of the Industrial Museum Association of Hermoupolis for its unwavering support.
This collaboration does not end here; it will carry on during the winter period, paving the way for new initiatives that connect education with cultural heritage.
Culture unites—and in Syros, this translates into reality.
